Little Portugal (or Portugal Village) is located west of downtown in the ‘Old’ city of Toronto and is bounded by Lansdowne Avenue to the west, College Street to the north, Ossington Avenue to the east and the CP Railway and CNR/CPR mainline railway tracks to the south. This ethnic enclave is predominantly a residential neighbourhood with a number of Portuguese storefronts lining College and Dundas Streets. The largest ethnic group are Portuguese and Brazilian. There are also many Asian businesses located in the area.
